Located between the neighborhoods of São Conrado and Leblon, in the heart of Rio’s coastline, Morro Dois Irmãos (Two Brothers Hill) is known for offering one of the most magnificent views of Rio de Janeiro. From the top of the peak locals call the “taller brother,” you can take in some of the city’s most iconic landmarks, including Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon, Copacabana, and Arpoador. The 2.5-km trail begins at the top of Vidigal Favela, a community that has become an important cultural hub.
OUR TOUR
A hike of approximately 1.5 hours takes us to the summit of Dois Irmãos, where we can relax, take photos, and enjoy the incredible views!
Along the way, we’ll make strategic stops at several viewpoints.
To reach the trailhead, the more adventurous can opt for a motorcycle taxi, a typical way of getting around Rio’s communities. Those who prefer a more relaxed option can take a van or kombi.
